On September 22, the award ceremony of the photo contest "The Green Cities of the Future", organised by R3GIS and involving 25 photographers, was held at the Flormart international trade fair. The contest focused on the topic of climate change in urban environments and the impact of green management on the wellbeing of citizens.
This year R3GIS celebrates 20 years since its foundation and with its strong commitment to sustainability, the South Tyrolean company promotes efficient green management taking into account the safety and wellbeing of citizens also through initiatives such as "The Green Cities of the Future" photography competition.
The jury, composed of Renato Ferretti (CONAF), Graziella Zaini (Acer), Michele Bonmassar (professional photographer) and Paolo Viskanic (CEO R3GIS) selected twelve images based on their adherence to the theme, the technical quality of the photograph, and aesthetic creativity and originality.
Flormart was the venue for the award ceremony, which was moderated by Renato Ferretti (CONAF) on Friday the 22nd of September from 12.00 to 12.30 pm. The winning photographs were taken for the production of a 2024 calendar.

R3GIS would like to thank all participants, the jury and the public who made this initiative a success. The winners' works were exhibited to the public at the Flormart Fair in Padua, offering everyone the opportunity to admire the beauty of urban nature through the eyes of the photographers. The calendar with the winning photographs was printed by R3GIS and will be distributed in the coming months.
