A key event held in April in cooperation with the Lithuanian University of Applied Engineering Sciences (LIK) in Kaunas region, has paved the way for a partnership between Lithuanian company Green Areas EU (Inter rem MB) and Italian software company R3GIS. This collaboration aims to revolutionize green infrastructure management in Lithuania with the first installation of the advanced GreenSpaces software solution at the Tado Ivanausko Obelynės Park Memorial Museum in Kaunas district near Kaunas. The software will be available in Lithuanian starting in October, ensuring it meets local language and technical requirements.
This first implementation of the software marks a significant step forward in managing Lithuania’s green infrastructure. Green Areas EU’s adoption of GreenSpaces will lead to more efficient monitoring, maintenance, and sustainability of urban forests, contributing to the resilience of these historic sites.
