On 22 November, Padua hosted the symposium "FORESTE IN COMUNE. Strategie di forestazione urbana per il cambiamento climatico", organised by PAYSAGE TOPSCAPE and the Municipality of Padua. A highly relevant event for urban green management, in which R3GIS participated as a sponsor.

Among the speakers at the event, Paolo Viskanic, CEO of R3GIS, brought his contribution on the central theme of tree equity. A concept that is getting more and more attention, especially in the urban context, where the distribution of greenery can make a difference to the wealth of a community. Tree equity is based on the idea that every citizen, regardless of where they live, should have equal access to the benefits of urban greenery, as these not only contribute to improving air quality and combating climate change, but also play a key role in reducing social inequalities, creating healthier and more liveable environments for all.

The event, which was attended by 205 professionals and more than 40 speakers from all over Europe, was a special occasion for us, also thanks to our connection with Padua. Over the years, we have collaborated with the municipality to develop innovative solutions in urban green management. Thanks to our GreenSpaces platform and the integrated technology of greehill digital twins, we work in synergy with the city of Padua to optimise green management.
