Landscape design for natural capital resilience: a focus during the event "Brianza’s Natural Capital and Climate Change"

We are excited to announce our participation in the event organized by the Province of Monza and Brianza. The event will provide space for a reflection on the topic of local forestation. In this setting, Paolo Viskanic, R3GIS CEO, will speak about "Urban green management in times of climate change".  Extreme weather events in recent years have shown how it is increasingly important to manage urban greenery efficiently, carefully monitoring trees and documenting activities. Moreover, they have highlighted how green spaces play a key role in making cities more resilient to summer heat islands, pollution and storms. Concrete examples of best practices will be also addressed.

It is expected to be a very practical day, designed to provide local governments and practitioners with useful tools to keep track of ongoing processes and to enhance their tree heritage in an integrated way thanks to the support of the Province.
