In the city of Łódź, in the heart of Poland, a press conference was held today together with our partner Progea 4D, following the recent adoption of GreenSpaces software and the ArboTag labelling system for the efficient management of urban green areas by the administration. This event marks a significant step towards a greener and more sustainable future for Łódź, the third major city in Poland, after Krakow (Krakow) and Szczecin (Szczecin) to adopt GreenSpaces.
GreenSpaces is a state-of-the-art platform designed to optimise the management of green areas, providing advanced tools for the planning, maintenance and conservation of urban greenery, taking into account important aspects such as environmental benefits. The platform is able to integrate complex data and provide detailed analysis to improve the efficiency and sustainability of activities.
Together with ArboTag, trees are accurately identified and monitored. This solution allows each plant to be catalogued with a unique code, enabling detailed tracking of crucial information, such as species, age, health condition and maintenance. This facilitates a more targeted and customised management of green areas, ensuring a healthier environment and a better quality of life for citizens.
With the adoption of GreenSpaces and the ArboTag labelling system, Łódź is proving itself at the forefront of sustainable green space management. This is just the beginning of a journey towards a greener and more prosperous future for the city and its community of 700,000 inhabitants. With innovation and collaboration as driving forces, Łódź is poised to become a model of excellence in urban green care and conservation.
