The Interreg IT-CH project VerdeVale is officially part of the REGIOSTARS Awards, the annual competition organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (REGIO) for EU projects with regional impact.

Our application has passed the eligibility check and will now be submitted to the jury for evaluation. The announcement of the finalists will take place around mid-July, to be followed by a public online vote.

Over the years, since 2008, REGIOSTARS has become the mark of excellence for EU-funded projects that demonstrate the impact and inclusiveness of regional development. From of this year, REGIOSTARS are awarded to projects in six thematic categories.

VerdeVale is competing for CATEGORY 2 - A GREEN EUROPE: by proposing solutions to common challenges, the VerdeVale project aims to inspire the Alpine region to implement an increasingly effective policy for green and resilient cities. For VerdeVale this means taking into account aspects of environmental, as well as economic sustainability, improving the competitiveness of businesses operating in the area.
